If you ever need a pick me up I’ve got one for you. CUPCAKE TRUCK!

Seriously when I saw this I yelled and raised my fist in the air.

So Philly has a cupcake truck and it’s all kinds of awesome. This post is actually perfectly timed because the truck had some technical difficulties the last couple of weeks but this week it’s back. You can find their schedule here and you can follow them on Twitter. I love food trucks and Twitter. I like the adventure of them posting where they will be and then meeting them there. It’s almost as if we are treating these food trucks like bands on tour. You wait for them to roll up at the venue and you ask them to sign your 7 inch but in this case you get to eat a cupcake! I don’t know if that analogy really works but what I’m trying to say is that food trucks on Twitter are pretty rock and roll. </tangent>

For just $2 cupcake happiness can be yours. They have a good variety of flavors so there is something for everyone. I was especially excited about the pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting.

This truck couldn’t be cuter if it tried. It has sprinkles! and at the bottom it has what looks to be a cupcake liner around it. I just want to hug this cupcake truck. That would be weird right?

This pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting is Autumn encapsulated into a delicious sweet baked treat. The cupcake was super moist, sorry there is no better word is there? I find that a lot of bakeries make very dense cupcakes that are often too dry. I could have done without the candy piece on top of the frosting but that’s my only very minor complaint. Oh and the frosting was everything a cream cheese frosting should be, awesome. I’m pretty terrible at describing sweet things. I’m trying!

One last shot of the truck. I seriously think this truck should have it’s own Saturday morning cartoon. They would solve crimes while serving up delicious cupcakes.
