I think I’ve made it perfectly clear that I don’t bake, but in case you are just tuning in please see here and here. I have wasted your time by mentioning this because anytime I bake it’s a big deal. I usually only bake one thing, snickerdoodles. I think it’s because I just really like the name. Oh and they taste good. Oh and they don’t require much work.
If you would like to experience the rare occasion of me baking, please stop by A Full Plate Cafe this Saturday between 10 to 3 . Me and a bunch of your favorite food bloggers will be selling our baked goods for the National Food Bloggers Bake Sale to raise money for Share our Strength. All proceeds from this bake sale will help support Share Our Strength’s work towards eliminating child hunger in America. You can read more about this great event over at Foodaphilia. Psst…E is going to be selling her Cookies ‘n Cream Whoopie Pies. Get on it!
So come on out this Saturday, say hi to a food blogger and buy some sweet treats to support a good cause. Also I will snickering and doodling the whole time. Get it? That was terrible, sorry. I really might make little doodles, they will be awful. That’s certainly something to experience.
I’ve got a great “Party and Brunching” post coming up at the end of the week on A Full Plate Cafe’s brunch so you might just want to make room for that as well.
See you this weekend!

What a fantastic fantastic idea! Can’t wait to swing by the sale! I swung by Full Plate Cafe for the first time last weekend – it was fab!
I’ve been lurking around your site for awhile, and just wanted to say I’m excited to meet you and the other Philly foodbloggers on saturday. Also, snickerdoodles are great, and should get more love.
@holly – make sure you stop by and say hi!
@colleen – Hello! I’ll be happy to meet a fellow snickerdoodle fan.
