Zahav dish named a "best restaurant dish" 2008 in Food & Wine

December 4th, 2008 · No Comments · food and wine, jaimeshake, philly, restaurant

Food & Wine has honored Michael Solomonov’s fried cauliflower with lebneh as one of the top restaurant dishes of 2008 out of 10 other honorees, in its December 2008 issue.  Zahav’s modern Israeli cuisine has been lighting up critics and bloggers alike since it opened earlier this year.  The other winners that have set my taste buds spinning include duck fat-fried chicken at Takashi in Chicago and creme brulee bread pudding from Killen’s Steakhouse in Pearland, TX.
